Bespoke Residential Architecture
Heritage + Conservation

Nestled in the heart of Oxfordshire, this sensitive renovation and extension project breathes new life into a cherished heritage building. The design carefully balances respect for the property’s historic fabric with the introduction of bold, contemporary architecture.

A new glazed entrance hall now forms a striking yet sympathetic transition between the original structures acting as a modern addition, creating a sense of arrival and openness. Inside, a light-filled kitchen and dining space have been designed as the social hub of the home, where historic fabric meets refined modern detailing.

The reconfigured and extended upper level accommodates a new master bedroom suite that offers privacy and panoramic views across the surrounding landscape, seamlessly integrated within the existing roofline. Throughout the scheme, natural materials, crafted joinery, and careful spatial planning enhance the building’s character while introducing the comfort and efficiency expected of modern living.

This Oxfordshire renovation celebrates the dialogue between old and new, preserving the soul of a historic home while evolving it for twenty-first-century life.
