EXISTING DWELLING

EXISTING GARDEN

This residential and leisure mixed-use masterplan was centred around a new Thames-side home for our client and his family. The 44-acre estate was divided into key three zones each responding to varying levels of sensitivity within the natural landscape context.

A new replacement dwelling was sited within the existing residential curtilage with adjoining landscaped gardens, private marina, private sports facilities, animal pens, winery, and vineyard. Existing water pools in the east of the site are to be consolidated into wetland habitats as part of an extensive rewilding strategy with a private nature walk.

The existing structures in the south-west of the residential estate are to be refurbished as part of a fine dining restaurant facility with access to foraging in the adjacent woodland.
